Crochet Hats, made by Mary Swindell 02/19/08 After my diagnosis with ovarian cancer in 2007, I underwent surgery followed by chemotherapy. When I lost my hair, I decided to wear hats and scarves rather than to buy a wig. One of the unexpected pleasures was that I began to make crochet hats of every style and color! I got patterns from the internet, and began making hats by the dozen as a donation to the women's chemotherapy center at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. Here are some of my favorites! Please note, this page may be updated from time to time as I add the latest "fashions". -- Mary For a Printer Friendly Version, Click Here 3-Way Cap (bulky) 3-Way Cap (worsted) Crochet Hat with Flower (dk. red)
