“Not your mother’s financial seminar!” If you’re looking for spreadsheets, graphs, and dry presentations of stock options, this is NOT the retreat for you.
This retreat will explore the intersection of faith and money on a personal level:
There will be NO math and NO charts. Yes, there will be a book, but it has pictures, and you don’t have to read it ahead.
Whether you’re a Stewardship leader or someone who wants to gain deeper understanding of how and why you make the financial choices you do, this retreat aims to help you approach these questions in a spirit-filled way. Join us at Bellwether Farm as we spend time with Celeste Ventura’s book Deeper Simplicity, Broader Generosity and explore what it means to live into financial wholeness and a life of generosity. The retreat will be led by Ms. Julie Lady, Senior VP, Ethics Manager, at a regional bank and a parishioner at Christ Episcopal Church, Shaker Heights. A free copy of the book will be provided to all retreatants.
Price inclusive of room, all meals (Fri supper through Sat lunch), and all supplies.
$ 200/person for single occupancy room
$ 170/person for double occupancy room
