It is an exciting time for Bellwether Farm! We are at the busiest phase of construction to date. Back in August 2017, the summer camp cabins, maintenance barn and animal barn were erected. The worship barn is now up and we will soon begin to put in the interior finishes. The staff housing is expected to be finished in early spring, and our new team hires will move into their new dwellings in April 2018! The construction crews will complete the dining & meeting building and adult retreat cabins in spring 2018 and, those facilities will be open for use by the summer.
In addition, our Bellwether Farm team is growing! Back in December 2017, we welcomed Kyle Mitchell on board as our Farm Manager. We are now eagerly awaiting Brandon Gooch to join our team as Camp Director in February 2018. We are greatly looking forward to working with our growing team as we prepare for the opening of Bellwether Farm in summer 2018!
Our team has greatly enjoyed working closely with our construction partners who are working diligently to get the buildings finished in time for the summer season this year.
