Throughout the year, Bellwether Farm hosts groups from around the country, utilizing our facilities, property and programming as an alternative to traditional retreats and meetings. Our proximity to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport makes Bellwether Farm an exceptional alternative to airport hotels, and our 137-acres of sustainable farm and forest provides a quiet retreat setting.
Your experience at Bellwether Farm can be customized to fit your group’s needs and goals. Programming begins with an introduction to our sustainable farm, an exploration of the regenerative agricultural practices we employ, team building exercises and hands-on volunteer work in the field and in the kitchen. No previous gardening experience is required and we will be inclusive of all physical abilities. These experiences are designed to break down communication barriers among colleagues while connecting with the natural land. Your team will also get the chance to spend time with our baby goats, chickens, and pigs. As a thank you for your hard work, we will be sure to send you home with Bellwether Farm’s produce.
In addition to the half or full-day farm experience, we also offer recreational activities such as hiking, canoeing, farm-to-table cooking competitions, and cooking lessons.
Whether for a quick afternoon meeting or a weeklong retreat, our conference and retreat spaces are available to you year round. In designing your corporate outing, peruse our Event Spaces and Overnight Accommodations to find the spaces that best fit your needs.
Bellwether Farm's organic produce is the crux of our farm-to-table dining experience. Using the produce your group picked that day, Chef Lonny can provide seasonally-based breakfast, lunch, dinner and healthy snacks. All meals are served family style and all dietary restrictions can be accommodated with prior knowledge.
Bellwether Farm is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization that is able to provide these experiences because of generous gifts and donations. While there is a set cost for event spaces and meals, groups participating in Volunteer and Team Building Programs are encouraged to make a charitable gift of perhaps $1000 to underwrite staffing and supplies.
Program dates are subject to availability with preferred days in May, August, September October and Early November. Event Spaces are available for rental year round.
