Two Saturday afternoons in February will be devoted to teaching the fundamentals of fly fishing techniques suited to the Vermilion River. Dan Gourash, who has fished Ohio’s waters since childhood, will offer two sessions for those new to fly fishing or those wanting to brush up their skills. Using the pond at Bellwether Farm, anglers will learn all they need to know to sharpen your skills to fly fish the Vermilion River.
A limited number of fly rods are available for beginners, but if you have one, please bring it. Some limited leader, tippet material, and flies will be available. But, if you have flies you want to try, bring those too
The cost is $20 per session if you're using provided equipment, materials, and flies, and free if you are bringing your own supplies. Donations are welcome.
