Spring Fly Fishing

Registration for this event has ended

Come to Bellwether for fly fishing with Dan Gourash, who has fished Ohio’s waters since childhood. Dan will teach those new to fly fishing or help those wanting to brush up their skills. Using the pond at Bellwether Farm, beginners will learn all they need to know to sharpen their skills to fly fish the Vermilion River. Experienced anglers with a license are invited to head straight to the river.

A limited number of fly rods are available for beginners, but if you have one, please bring it. Some limited leader, tippet material, and flies will be available. But, if you have flies you want to try, bring those too.

The cost is $20 per session if you're using provided equipment, materials, and flies, and free if you are bringing your own equipment. Donations are appreciated.
