Bellwether Farm Camp, Retreat, and Education Center offers a model of sustainable living that promotes physical and spiritual wellness, fidelity to the environment, and social justice.

Programming

Nestled into the curves of the Vermillion River, Bellwether Farm is a camp, retreat, and education center dedicated to exposing the wider community to the creation that sustains all of life. As a working farm, its life focuses on four primary activities.

Bellwether Farm is a unique and affordable option for your next gathering. The center offers brand new facilities featuring a green technology, renewable energy, and water reclamation systems.

Bike Ride at Bellwether Farm

Join the Bishops for a ride from Bellwether Farm on June 10, 2023. The Mission Ride happening June 7-9 will end at Bellwether Farm on Friday, June 9 in time for dinner and worship. On Saturday, June 10, riders will head out for a day of riding, returning to Bellwether in the afternoon.

Three routes will be available to ride:

  • Novice (22 miles round trip)
  • Intermediate (40 miles round trip)
  • Experienced (70 miles round trip)

Registration for the Bishop's Bike Ride does not include overnight accommodations, and can be completed on the diocesan website.

Overnight accommodations are available

Riders may choose to join the ride in progress on Friday (for the ride to Bellwether), join for dinner and worship Friday night at Bellwether, join for breakfast Saturday morning, or just ride on Saturday. Accommodations for Friday night range from pitch your own tent to a single occupancy retreat room. Tent campers and those in cabins will use the Camp area bath houses.

Registration options:

  • $130/person single occupancy retreat room (includes Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast)
  • $ 100/person double occupancy retreat room (includes Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast)
  • $ 60/person camp cabin bunk bed (includes Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast)
  • $ 35/per person tent camping (includes Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast)
  • $ 30/per person Friday Dinner and Saturday breakfast (meals only, no overnight)
  • $ 15/per person Saturday Breakfast only
