Nestled into the curves of the Vermillion River, Bellwether Farm is a camp, retreat, and education center dedicated to exposing the wider community to the creation that sustains all of life. As a working farm, its life focuses on four primary activities.

Bellwether Farm is a unique and affordable option for your next gathering. The center offers brand new facilities featuring a green technology, renewable energy, and water reclamation systems.

Hobby Retreat

Hobby Retreat

Join us for a warm and inviting hobby retreat, where you and your friends can relax in rocking chairs, gather around a table, and immerse yourselves in your favorite pastimes. Whether you prefer to focus on personal projects or participate in group activities led by the Bellwether Farm team—such as creative cooking and crafts—there's something for everyone. This retreat is also a fantastic opportunity for a personal getaway, allowing you to engage in activities at your own pace or fully embrace the communal experience with a larger group. Come unwind and enjoy the cozy atmosphere by the fire!

**Friday, January 16**

  • 3:00 PM - Arrive, Check-In, & Get Settled
  • 4:00 PM - Welcome, Introductions, & Icebreakers
  • 4:30 PM - Snacks, String Art, & Beeswax Chapstick
  • 6:00 PM - Dinner 7:00 PM - Solo or Group Time for Personal Hobbies

**Saturday, January 17**

  • 8:00 AM - Breakfast
  • 9:00 AM - Paper Making and Journal Binding
  • 10:00 AM - Solo or Group Time for Personal Hobbies
  • 12:00 PM - Lunch 1:00 PM - Exploring the Farm (Farm Tour & Guided Nature Walk—maybe even sledding!?)
  • 3:00 PM - Teaching Kitchen: Sweet & Savory Pretzel Making 5:00 PM - Solo or Group Time for Personal Hobbies
  • 6:00 PM - Dinner 7:00 PM - PJs and Hot Chocolate Karaoke Night

**Sunday, January 18**

  • 10:00 AM - Brunch 11:00 AM - Check-Out & Departures

**Packing List:**

  • A hobby (or two!) of your own. Examples include books, knitting, crafts, Legos, games, and walking gear for exploring trails.
  • Clothing for the weekend, including fun pajamas for Karaoke Night.
  • Snacks and beverages for yourself and others (optional, but consider a snack potluck).

**Lodging, Programming, & Meal Rates:**

Weekend Retreat (3 Days, 2 Nights) $295.00 per guest. We look forward to seeing you there!
