Join us for a heartwarming community retreat crafted to unite people through learning, discussion, and worship. You are invited to join us for a creation care retreat rooted in the theme of “Living Lightly and Gently on God’s Good Earth”. This retreat will be led by The Rev. Deacon Linda Brown and Jesse Brown from The Episcopal Church in Colorado. Deacon Linda serves at Cathedral Ridge Camp & Retreat Center and spearheads the Care for Creation Ministry there. Jesse is a trained spiritual director and a certified Forest Bathing guide. Both Linda and Jesse Brown have a passion for "nature connectedness" and the many ways that we as faithful servants can care for and love God’s good earth. Look forward to meaningful conversations and interactions with God's creation that weave together our spirituality, faith and cultural impacts. Guests will experience prayer, reflections, journaling, and ways to nurture new creation care ideas, approaches, and practices into our personal lives, churches, and communities.
The Episcopal Church’s Covenant for the Care of Creation is a commitment to practice loving formation, liberating advocacy and life-giving conservation as individuals, congregations, ministries and dioceses.
