Summer Camp

At Bellwether Farm, camp is an intentional week-long camp that values physical and spiritual wellness, connection to the land, and community.

It is such a wonderful opportunity for young people to connect with God and experience an intentional Christian community in a non-church setting. Each week is designed for a different age group and with a different approach – but all intend to build faith in a fun and safe environment.

We strive to make Bellwether Camp an inclusive place for all identities and energies, including extroverts and introverts alike.

Summer camp at Bellwether Farm is an opportunity for campers to immerse themselves in fun, engaging outdoor activities. These programs will seek to teach healthy, social nutritional and environmental practices while providing a safe context in which to encounter God's beautiful creation campers will have the opportunity to learn about organic gardening, animal care, and creative cooking they will also participate in traditional camp activities, including swimming canoeing arts and crafts, fishing and field games. The Bellwether farm staff is invested in the life of every camper, seeking to inspire future generations to become passionate leaders in the world around them.

Read more about what to expect, and a sample schedule, in our FAQ section. We can't wait to welcome you back or meet you for the first time!

Children & Youth Camps

Our days are spent in activities that vary from cooking and farming to archery and canoeing to hiking and field games- and lots of nature-based art!  Campers are organized by cabins, with 8 near-peers and two counselors. Campers participate with their cabins in most activities, and gather with the whole camp for meals, daily assemblies, and some after-dinner all-camp activities (like the talent show!)

Family Camps

Families and households are organized together in cabins and our lodge rooms. Our cabins can sleep 10, while our rooms vary. If family or household units are small, similar family and households structures could be assigned to share a cabin. Intergenerational and age-appropriate activities will be offered throughout our time together with an emphasis on families and households doing things together. This is a fantastic way to connect with your loved ones over a long weekend. There are no limitations to the ages that are welcome during these sessions. Parents or guardians are required to attend Family Camp sessions.
