Discerning Sobriety with Erin Jean Warde
A retreat weekend exploring mindfulness, sobriety, and spirituality
Nestled into the curves of the Vermillion River, Bellwether Farm is a camp, retreat, and education center dedicated to exposing the wider community to the creation that sustains all of life. As a working farm, its life focuses on four primary activities.
Facilities & Grounds
Bellwether Farm is a unique and affordable option for your next gathering. The center offers brand new facilities featuring a green technology, renewable energy, and water reclamation systems.
Join us for a 24-hour retreat exploring tools to help you dig into your own relationship with addictive choices or behaviors so common to us all.
Erin Jean Warde, ordained Episcopal priest and author of Sober Spirituality, will share the personal journey which led her to quit alcohol. She will provide additional tools to help each participant explore a more mindful relationship with our substance misuse and dependencies and the richer sobrieties we might seek or experience.
Recommended for those seeking wholeness in mind, body, and soul, for those questioning their relationship with any kind of addictive choice (or supporting someone who is) regardless of where they are in their journey. Those of any faith or none are welcome.
Friday, October 27 - Saturday, October 28, 2023
Bellwether Farm is a model of green technology featuring passive buildings, renewable energy, and more. It is a vehicle through which we can teach the wider community about fidelity to the environment, nutrition, physical and spiritual wellness, local food sourcing, food justice, and sustainable living.
Volunteer around Bellwether Farm. Opportunities are posted as they become available.
